To end the 2024 racing season, we attended the final Heads Up Racing Series event at Milan Dragway and entered into the Ultra Street class.
We showed up on the 2nd day of the event only giving us one shot at qualifying and fighting the tracks on-point traction doing massive power wheelies. Even with the wheels going up, we clicked off a 4.61 at over 154mph winning our first round of eliminations driving around our nitrous fed competitor!
For round 2, the air was getting better however we slowed down to a 4.63 with a slower 60ft...upon looking at our data, we noticed a massive drop in boost leading us to check out the blower and finding that the impeller touched off on the housing ending our night. However, we went home happy knowing that pass would have easily been a 4.5x had we not had a blower issue. None the less we are ending our season with high expectations for 2025 and looking back through 2024, we are proud of the massive strides we have made with our new trim/build!
With the announcement from ProMedia that the NMRA/NMCA will no longer be around, we are currently planning our 2025 season with big plans including attendance of DuckX Productions/Radial Racing Associations No Mercy, Battle of the Thrones, & Lights Out. Also planning to attend Sick the Magazines new series/races like Sick at the Rock & Sick at the Green as well as YellowBullet Nationals in September. We hope to make many of the Milan Heads Up Series races as well. And to top off the 2025 season, we are excited to send this new setup down the full 1/4 mile once again at the huge Import vs Domestic WORLD CUP race in November at Maryland International Raceway!
