Standard issue on 2013 and 2014 factory built drag race cars! When using hood pins to keep the hood latched tight on your race car, there is no need for the factory latching mechanism. Eliminate that extra weight, and cover the hole left in the plastic sight shield / radiator cover.

This simple yet effective part serves two purposes:
1.) Keeps the air flowing THROUGH your radiator instead of blowing over it (a track car necessity)
2.) Serves as an excellent visual upgrade when the hood is open. Lightweight powder-coated aluminum with a texture finish similar to the plastic around it. Installs with 4 rivets or screws.
